I am an Intern at the Equitas Health Institute and we are fundraising for our team to further help our community! Equitas Health Institute is committed to educate, research and engage our community in reducing health disparities in the LGBTQ+ community! We also host the annual Transforming Care Conference (The LGBTQ+ & HIV/AIDS Health Equity Conference). All funds collected will help the Institute continue to help our community and brigde the gap in services for the LGBTQ+ community and people with HIV and AIDS.
I have a family member with HIV and I have noticed how much stigma there is and how it has negatively impacted their life. This Walk will help support people with HIV and AIDS, as I have seen the struggle of fighting for one's life without support of family. Life is difficult as it is and I hope you will consider donating to help support and to show that we care about people with HIV and AIDS because there was a time when nobody cared.
I am participating in the 2019 Dr. Robert J. Fass Memorial AIDS Walk Ohio on April 13, the largest HIV/AIDS fundraising event in the state.
Let’s continue supporting our friends, family and community members!
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation (of any amount) in support of my AIDS Walk Ohio fundraising goal and click on the link on my page to pledge your donation! Feel free to also join our team and walk with us!
Also... U=U MEANS A PERSON LIVING WITH HIV AND IS UNDETECTABLT CANNOT TRANSMIT HIV TO SEXUAL PARTNERS!!!!
Undetectable=Untransmittable; we now have the ability—through HIV testing and treatment—to stop HIV in its tracks. Because with routine treatment, people living with HIV can reduce the amount of HIV in their blood until it is undetectable and cannot be transmitted to sexual partners.
I thank you for helping me support a cause that matters. Your support gives me hope that we can end the stigma and show love and compassion.
